After the T-800 had made his exit, Sarah hadn't stuck around at the picnic for much longer. With the terminator somewhere out there and obviously unstable, it wasn't safe to be out, especially unarmed.
Once she'd tracked down John, they'd hit the road, heading directly back to the safehouse. Sarah couldn't breathe easy again until the doors were locked and she'd checked every room.
That night, she lay in bed, tossing and turning for what seemed like ages before finally falling into a restless sleep.
