It doesn't really "feel" like Christmas Eve already, but it is. Of the Futuristic-sounding year 2011. Soon to be 2012. Hard to believe. I distinctly remember wiping white chalk marks off green, grade-school, classroom teaching boards to change the dates: 1988, 1990, 1997... He's one of my "movie magic" spfx personal heroes; one of those names that I not only recognize, but who has influenced my own Life.

For Love of Lyrics & Light :: 19 :: Daughtry - "Feels Like Tonight"
This song has sort of been haunting me lately... (ha, it's one of like, 3, that I keep hearing everywhere I go, it seems... and relates to some current stuff, anyways...)

Other notes
- I believe that Facebook may, in fact, be a leading thread towards the Singularity. I find that extremely interesting and mildly disturbing at the same Time.
- The current trend of tee-shirt design consumerism reminds me, strongly, of the "Shoe Event Horizon" story segment of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy stories, as featured in ( Read more... )
