Today already is meh.  It started on an up note though.

Good: M will be home *soon*, likely next week, and possibly will have orders to be stationed 10ish hours away instead of Georgia. But Georgia wouldn't be bad because I could see my most awesome tinlizzie. 
Bad: D got orders and will be deployed to -hotspot- in November.
Good: D's family will be coming ( Read more... )

So far my vacation is going swimmingly. Having a great time with the kids and grandson. Today we are going to *my* Grandma's who hasn't seen K since he was born. He was her first great-great-grandchild, but her second was born shortly after. Soon she will have 4.

All last week was spent in preparation for the kid to graduate and the impending infestation of relatics, inlaws, and outlaws.  It wasn't pretty but it is in the bag so it's a win.  Cut to save my flist because this is such a massively long post.
