As promised, this episode contained both vampires and Venice, so I can't say that I was disappointed.
I don't know why I keep cutting for spoilers; I don't think I have anything in-depth to say. It was fun, it was exciting, I'm glad they get to keep Rory around for the time being.
...and who doesn't like sexy vampire girls, I ask you? (Why, yes, I have watched my fair share of Lesbian Vampire horror movies.)
I would like to report that today at the bookstore I saw that Margaret Wander Bonanno, who wrote awesome Trek profic like Strangers From the Sky (the probably now totally-Jossed one about a couple of Vulcans being on Earth many years before they should be; I read this one until the cover came off) has another Trek pronovel! About Saavik! (Because clearly we all liked The Pandora Principle! I know I did! Saavik is awesome!)
It is called Unspoken Truth and I did not buy it because I am not allowed to buy any more paper books ever because all the bookshelves are full, there is no space for more bookshelves, and we have at least twenty more feet of books lying around in huge wobbly towers. Plus ebooks are way easier to hold. I am seriously contemplating purchasing it for the Kindle, except I keep being hesitant to give Amazon money for a proprietary, DRMed format.
(I still find it hilarious that Margaret Wander Bonanno then went and wrote the Others trilogy, which is original SF but the titular Others are Vulcans with the serial numbers filed off.)
... Anyway. I suppose I should get around to watching this season of Lewis sometime too. But they keep making Hathaway straighter and straighter, and it makes me sad. I guess I could just watch "Life Born of Fire" over and over again.
