The truth of the world when we were young

I have a lot of weird theories to explain a lot of the weird things I see. Most efforts to squeeze sense from the world involve pattern recognition. For instance, a bunch of colors in an arc isn't proof that God is a vandal, it's a rainbow. Gibberish is a pattern of letters out of order. Attraction is looking at someone and thinking the two of you ( Read more... )

No self respecting Oxford don would fill up a tank themselves, they have man servants for that =P

haha Ya, I saw! I echo the comment of how did you manage to get that picture? Also, the washroom tiles seem strangely familiar...

I think it's cause of all the pumping, that's probably what's making them happy. Pumping alone or pumping someone or for someone, just makes gas attendant boys happy. Or that might just be me. ;)

My sisters were always tasked with putting in a few huors of labor at my uncle's Shell station in the province (just to keep them busy). They would return to the house minus a few brain cells. Seriously. The fumes kill your brain.

So my theory, built upon your theory, is that gas attendants are always smiling because they are high and a bit more stupid from the constant inhilation of gas fumes (ignorance is bliss, diba?), which would account for why I had to wait for 20 freaking minutes for my credit card after paying for a tank of gas.

hahaha My secret "what job would you want to do for a day" answer actually is to be a gas station attendant, I'll volunteer for your uncle!

I'm sure Carmel would contest the fact that she has lost any brain cells... you sure you didn't spend any time working in the station? ;)

hehe That is pretty bad, they are diligent but slow, these high on fumes attendants. Once they gave back my parents the wrong credit card, and we only realized once we had gotten home na =P
