RIP Baby
Please remember Gaia Pasamba in your prayers. She was two and a half years old and battling a dysfunctional liver as well as cancer. She was undergoing chemo but her body just couldn't take it anymore. Here's a video her parents made just this Christmas.

The husband has just told me about the story that was on the news of a little seven year old girl who was brutally raped by three grown men, strangled then stuffed into a luggage bag with her lifeless legs dangling out of one un-zipped side. I've just gotten home from the premier of Deep Sea 3D, a documentary about, well... duh, made for the Imax theater. My only other 3d experience to date was the Realto ride at Enchanted Kingdom, which I haven't been to since BC (before child), and which always made me a little gassy as a prelude to nausea. Junior and sibling rivalry
It's ironic that half-watching a movie about a pregnant man is making me miss my bump days. Although Ah-nold overplays the part, it's that complete exaggeration that pricks at my heartstrings and makes me eagerly wait for the day the second line appears on that damned test. It's not often that I treat myself to ice cream (or so I tell myself. oh sweet delusion) so I'm quite disappointed that my daydream-meets-reality pint of cookies and cream is not living up to it's part of the deal (which is being worth all the freaking calories). morning crush/hand envy
Taking the MRT in the morning is crazy business. Being carried along by the tide of womanly curves would normally not bother me. I would have thought that it would be a smooth and soft ride, but apparently I forgot to add jutting elbows and bags and pointy shoes to the equation.
