Well, nursing school is officially cancelled until Thursday. I was able to pack up my NOLA dorm room yesterday and make it back to Madisonville with no problem. Things are starting to close here, though, so my parents are thinking we'll probably end up in North Louisiana. I might try and get a place to stay in Baton Rouge but I'm not sure yet.
It is just so ironic that this whole thing is happening exactly 3 years after Katrina. Like it's saying: "Haha, you all just got your lives back together, let's knock everything down again!"
Stupid hurricanes. I hope everybody stays safe.
Edit: Parentals just decided that we're going to evacuate to Shreveport early tomorrow morning. Hopefully the traffic won't be bad, but at least we won't lose power there. Plus I get to see my grandparents! Good luck to everyone.
