I'm doing a complete reinstall of TS2 and was doing fine until I got to the Celebration Pack. It looks like it's installed 100% but Windows will suddenly stop working, and the pack doesn't appear fully installed in-game. The next few expansions don't install correctly either.

I even re-downloaded a fresh copy of the isos, so what's going on?

I'm trying to default community object with new shining colour - it looks fine on lot view but hood view it is still some Maxis default. Can I change this please somehow? Thank you, sorry for my bad english!

Whenever my sims get love or hate notes in the mail (so the results of an ok or bad date), they take them out, smell, react, move like they're putting something in their inventory...but then the note disappears. It never shows up in the inventory. I'm assuming it is a bug or a hack conflict, but I have no idea where to start looking. Suggestions? ( Read more... )

So I downloaded some adult-to-teen clothing conversions that were texture linked (I think that's the term?) -- basically, you need the adult files for the teen ones to work. But in my game, though the adult clothes show up fine, the teen ones just show up as naked bodies. I have the adult files, so...what's going on?

I just had my legacy family move houses, and put the gravestones in one sim's inventory. When they moved into the new lot, the graves doubled - there was the normal kind and another bunch of graves with only "rest in peace" instead of the usual "here lies so-and-so" in the tooltip.

Can I delete this second set, and does anyone know why this

I recently downloaded a few custom couches and now my game crashes when I click on custom objects in the comfort/sofas section. I tried to find the broken file with the 50/50 method but the Games doesn't crash until I put all my cc in >> anyone knows how to deal with this issue?

Whenever my Uni sims invite people over to their dorms, every so often the guest will drop any interation and immediately walk into someone else's dorm room, causing my sim to have to run in after them in order to interact with them. The only way to stop them is to make them selectable via boolprop and cancel the 'Hide' interaction ( Read more... )

I installed Seasons just a little while ago, and I recently noticed that random puddles have been showing up on the edge of my lots. They're not from rain, and I'm pretty sure they're not from random stray dogs wetting the lawn. Does anyone know why this is happening and perhaps how to stop it? Or am I just missing somethin?

I have a lot of default replacements in my game, and pretty much all of the hair and clothes have been replaced. However, in body shop and CAS most of the preview pictures are still of the old Maxis defaults, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change all of the preview pictures to my current default replacements.
