Question: Preview pictures not showing default replacements

I have a lot of default replacements in my game, and pretty much all of the hair and clothes have been replaced. However, in body shop and CAS most of the preview pictures are still of the old Maxis defaults, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change all of the preview pictures to my current default replacements. I think I remember someone telling me that if I deleted the old maxis preview pictures then the game would generate new ones, but I'm not sure if this is correct or where to find the preview pictures.
