See what happens? I don't log on for a while and then I do and find I've been friended by two people! Yayz! *waves to people* Can we say "recluse"? Me? Nooo . . . I recognise

And if you see this lafemme, feel free to leave a comment and tell me who you are. ^__^ 'Preciate the friendness though, I'm usually too shy/insecure to ask to friend people. ^^;
I actually really like reading other people's journals *voice goes creepy* and they have no idea I'm there . . . Mwahahahah . . . I just find it interesting, reading about the minutiae of other people's lives, their feelings, good times and crises and concerns, it's a little like . . . looking through a window, into someone's house and seeing them go about their day but getting to hear their thoughts as well . . . Okay that really is starting to sound creepy . . . ^^; *Comes down from full stalker mode*
It's also funny reading through friends' journals, reading others' comments and after a while you get to recognise other names so when you see them you think "Oh I know you! Well I don't know you but you're friends with such and such and you have this icon and I've seen you post in that comm." And then you might just click on their name and have a snoop in their journal. XD *Feels stalker mode creeping back again.* There was this one time when someone had posted a fic in a comm and I really enjoyed it, and a comment they made got me curious so I clicked their username. It went to their fic journal but there was the personal journal name in their profile as well so I clicked that. And I was hooked. I read back through about the past two years of postings that weren't f-locked in this journal, it was addictive, I just had to keep reading. And I wanted to post a comment saying something like "You don't know me, but just from reading your journal I think you are amazing. You are so brave, and strong and incredible." But I couldn't because I think that would have freaked them out just a little too much, to find out they had a virtual stalker.
But it is amazing, all the little details you can pick up about a person's life just from reading through their past entries. And a little scary too. Which is, I suppose, why f-locking and filtering was invented. XD But even then you have to be careful what you post, considering the whack jobs that are out there (myself not included, I'm too lazy to stalk anyone irl, I just lurk).
