I personally am I getting sick and tired of dealing someone who tries to so hard to aggravate you in every way possible. Yes, I'm taking about Lamonica again. (Seems like I never have anything good to say about foster children, eh?) No matter how many times you try

It's sad it's so hard to get through to her. Did your mother already try the "I'm really dissapointed in you right now, Lamonica" with the dissapointment face? I usually feel really bad of those. Maybe if your mother keeps that up for a few days, the whole dissapointment thing, maybe Lamonica will get a guilt feeling

Well we've tried some of that stuff, and to all of it she doesn't seem to care. Her attitude is always "I'm going to do what I want to do, and not going to listen to anyone." Until she can't stand being ignored anymore, then maybe she'll try slightly, but then backslide a week later. And Monday was horrible, she lied about my mom and me at her visit with her mom. Then her mom wanted her removed from the home, but the social worker was against it, since she knew Lamonica was lying. So far it's just been one drama filled period with her after another, and I hate drama. =p

But, we're trying to get her into therapy so she can talk about her problems, and get her into some after school programs so she can do something constructive with her time. Hopefully a combination of things will work. X_x
