Cornbread

Today I successfully baked a batch of cornbread.  Allie is right, it's the honey. Oh sugar, how I love thee.
I didn't make it from cornmeal, but from Jiffy. At 49 cents a box, who can resist the ease? And it's just milk and eggs, no vegetable oil or anything.  Milk, eggs, and honey. Sounds like a southern belle.

The honey is made locally from Texas Wildflower.  It was one of my two fun purchases today. The other was chlorine and phosphate free laundry detergent.  Yeah for keeping our water clean for only 30% more.  I guess it would matter more if I were drinking from and emptying to my own water table.. oh wait.. I am.

Tuesday, I sign the lease for my new apartment in Hyde Park. Then, I get to painfully and slowly move my belongings in.  I just might rent a car next weekend to go shopping and pick up all the furniture and kitchen supplies I need.  And order a mattress. Ugh. Spending money. How irritating.

In other news,  T-Mobile, for an extra ten dollars a month will let you have unlimited wifi minutes whenever you are somewhere where your phone can connect to the wifi.  Which is sweet since I speak for long hours on my phone when at home.  So I am dumping verizon and switching to Telenko Fam's T-Mobile, OR either getting an  Earthlink phoneline/Skype phone and a pay as you go from AT&T.
