Saturday evening - I was drinking coffee before
sallying forth on a quest -  for shoes. The plan was to buy

Getting my hair cut has always been a hateful ordeal.
After loads of procrastination, I went in for a hair-cut today.
I have to attend a social function next Sunday and I didn't want to
appear shaggy.

Thanks to an overzealous hairdresser, I've ended up with really,
really short hair *sob*

After the sock, Fate decided to hand me a lollipop.

sillifluous  as I am, I extended my hand... then retracted it just in time.

Lucky I didn't take it, it was a soap bubble in disguise :P
Bah, I seem to have exhausted my stock of cliches ;)

And the sock came at the very moment when my plan for the day was falling into place.

However, sillifluous is made of sterling stuff. I wore the mask, drained the bitter cup and continued to smile.
