Helpless

Getting my hair cut has always been a hateful ordeal.
After loads of procrastination, I went in for a hair-cut today.
I have to attend a social function next Sunday and I didn't want to
appear shaggy.

Thanks to an overzealous hairdresser, I've ended up with really,
really short hair *sob*

I know it is going to grow back and all that but can't ( Read more... )

Shaggy? *giggles helplessly* Your hair are far from shaggy, girl. What would you call my hair?

I dread going for haircuts. And i've realised that the size of the parlour is inversely proportional to the haircut. The bigger and more 'lah-dih-dah' the parlour, the worse the haircuts.

If i had my way, i would go to the local barber...
Don't worry, your hair will grow a few milimeters by next Sunday. You can always tie them back.

As a last resort, you can wear a blonde wig and give your friends a stroke!

millimeters ....gah....they would need to grow a few inches before i start looking un-phunny. And there isn't enough hair to tie back. Know where I could get a Quick-grow potion for 'em?

Contrariwise, just buy a round brush and comb them OUTWARDS and try your best to look like a sweet, fluffy kitten.

MEOW, i ll do just that...though I may end up looking like a fat cat that has had an exceptionally trying time in the alley :P

Hey P, it might interest you to know that I am deep in the perusal of various novels set in Blandings Castle. They have effectively taken my mind off the haircut.

BTW, i'm adding you as a friend.

Blandings is my vision of heaven. Since I am fond *ahem* of elderly men with twinkling eyes and lax moralities, I guess Galahad would be my companion of choice...but Uncle Ickenham...of the Twistletonian fame is groovy too.

But of course, my heart belongs to Bertie...
*dreamy sigh*

Thanks, and I've added you too. Happy catcalling!

True - Blandings is heaven. I love Galahad too (my stuffed elephant is named after him). In addition,I adore Psmith or Archibald Moffam.

Many many thanks for the tip. I promptly supplied myself with a round hairbrush, and it has yielded good results.
A couple of people actually complimented me on the "smart" haircut today :)
