He sees her again in the lobby of the SME office. She's beautiful as always in her casual clothes, a cap on her head to avoid the looks of public. He can't seem to remember the last time he's been able to see her up close, close enough to see all the features of her face. From her deer eyes, to that perfectly shaped nose, and of course his favorite, her delicious lips.
He didn’t even notice that he was staring at her until she came up to him, now face to face, and waved her hand in front of his face. “Uh, Changmin oppa? You there?” He finally snaps back to reality and sees her in
front of his eyes, so close up that it hurts. “Oh, sorry about that Yoona. I was just spacing out.” He gave her a half forced smile to assure her. She politely nods and returns to wherever she was heading out to.
It hurt so much to see her again. After everything that happened, it was hard to even breathe the same air as she did. Because these two were once lovers, two human beings who were so in love with each other. But right when it was so picture perfect, hell came to break them apart. Their busy schedules, Yoona’s admirers that wouldn’t fucking leave her alone, and the most important fact that they didn’t feel the spark between them like the first time.
Changmin looks back to all the times that they spent together and regrets the words that he said to her. (not the I love you or that I want to spend my whole life with you but more like the you’re fucking selfish and maybe we should just end this) Because after she left, he realized what a big part of him that she took with her.
He’s still staring at her as she carefully walks into the car that’s been waiting for her and before she closes the door she gives him one last wave and smile and she doesn’t know how much that hurts him and how much he wishes he can see that every morning just like the past. But the past is the past, he can’t do anything about it.
(Yunho walks into the hotel room and sees Changmin sprawled out on the living room floor with a bottle of unknown liquid in one hand and a picture in the other. He’d like to do something but he knows the more he tries, the more he’s going to hurt so he just turns into the hallway and heads into his room, trying to ignore the painful tears that are running down his face as he has to deal with his little brother hurting himself.)
