So we've been settling in pretty well out here. Our neighborhood is about a mile outside the city limits, quiet, and everybody is pretty friendly. Planning to hold a backyard barbecue once our drainage issue is resolved. If that goes over well I'd love to throw out the idea of a block party. We are finishing our living space. Painting, rearranging furniture, hanging pictures and posters.
I know what I need to do. Wolf is getting a list tonight.

Mostly moved in and we have Internets again. Stay tuned for several years of updates from this location.

Deadline for closing is the 20th. Who wants to come help us break in our new house next year?

Alcohol will flow freely and there might be cake.

So we're gonna be working on the inside of the house over winter, but come spring it's time for yard work and landscaping.

There are already some little tree things and a sickly rose bush but we need more plants. We also need to remove a great deal of brush and dead vines from the back yard. Time for woodchippers and brush hogs! :D :D :D
