(no subject)
I was happy/relieved/pleased when the election results came out this morning & Obama had such a definitive victory. I thought I'd be more excited though. I don't know. As long as a Democrat is in the White House, I'm five by five.
I'm sad that my favourite politician lost her race (Jill Long Thompson, running for governor of Indiana, & to a Bush butt-monkey like Mitch Daniels to boot), that California voted for that horrible anti-gay Prop 8, & that Al Franken looks to have lost his race as well.
But a Democrat is in the White House (or least will be in the very near future). *is pretty fuckin' zen right now*
I rarely do this but I have a feeling it got lost in the post-election shuffle last night: I posted a fandom: news post last night; it has links for the Grey's Anatomy & Heroes madness that's going on right now, among some other interesting stuff. :D
I may or may not have another news post later tonight. Now that we're definitely staying, we're finally making our living space 'ours' -- which is including moving furniture all around & generally just making a big ol' mess. *sigh* (That is also why I'm kinda behind on, oh, everything. So much to do, only two hands, & I have yet to learn how to type with my toes.)
