Since last time I wrote, I applied for several more jobs and no luck. Not even interviews. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I am worried that it's my resume and the fact my last three jobs were all only a few months long. Well, I'll just keep trying.
I have quilting to keep me busy, which is a god-send! =) Pictwahs!
I sewed up my stepping stones block!
These photos don't have that nice, golden glow my last ones did because I had to take them with flash - the weather is pretty gloomy right now!
Next, I did a King's Cross block!
It's really tricky to get six lines of fabric to meet up exactly. And the bias cut side of the triangles stretch very easily, you have to be really careful.
And finally, a Jacob's Ladder!
Having practised on the King's Cross, my points were much better and my bias edges didn't stretch.
I'm going to go sew some more blocks now, I will post them soon!
