Summary: The love and loyalty of one member is about to be tested.

Ryeowook was busy in his small kitchen. The members would be waking up soon and they deserved a warm breakfast.

The members stumbled in, dead tired with no energy of life. Ryeowook made himself smile and placed a plate of food before each of them. He was surprised when a piece of paper was placed before him. “Hyung?” He turned away from the stove. Leeteuk passed papers out to everyone. “What's this?”

“We're back in work. We've been pretty quiet for the past month.” Leeteuk, he seemed no better than the rest of them. Tired eyes, no spring in his step, no drive for anything.

“But...Eunhyukkie...” Donghae whispered.

Leeteuk squeezed his shoulder. “As far as the fans know, Eunhyuk's still in recovery. He hasn't forgotten us and he's still apart of Super Junior. And until they say something we'll act the same way.” Leeteuk's speech seemed rehearsed - unlike his regular, happy self.

“Hyung...”

Leeteuk was smiling at them and it hurt how fake it was. “I know it'll be hard, but we just gotta do our best.”

Ryeowook's heart went out to him. He grabbed a plate and put it at an empty seat. “Ok Hyung. But first you have to eat.” He placed his hands on Leeteuk's back, pushing him down to sit. “Eat.”

Leeteuk was thankful to their young cook. He scooped up the rice in one spoon and munched a little in his mouth. “Sungmin, you and Ryeowook have show in two hours. You should probably hurry.”

Sungmin looked at Ryeowook in worry. This normality, the ordinariness that they all wanted, was just...not normal.

Ryeowook just kept on smiling. “Yes Hyung.” He answered for the both of them and busied himself around the kitchen.

He tried to hide it, Leeteuk sighing. He stared into his breakfast, thoughts going like white noise in his head and he couldn't hear any of them clearly. They were forming a headache.

Thankfully all Leeteuk had during the day were idle photoshoots. It was a tedious schedule that didn't require any real thought. He smiled as real as he could feel it fake.

He didn't look forward to tonight - Kiss the Radio.

The Producer and the noonas of the staff looked at him with sympathy, but he assured them he was fine to work. He rehearsed everything he would say and forced the headache - thoughts to the back of his mind.

He saw the control booth raise the signal and the 'On Air' light went on. He forced a smile and began talking. “Super Junior's Kiss the Radio. I'm Leeteukkie, all alone here. You're probably wondering 'Where's Eunhyuk-shi?' He's still not feeling well, but I know you guys will send him well-wishes till he is. Here's a song we'll be playing just for him.” He hit the switch and his mind shut off. He had 3 minutes and 21 seconds where he didn't have to act.

He went through the show, switching between his happy fakeness and nursing the pain in his body. Those in the booth saw the changes but thankfully said nothing.

“Now, we'll see what you guys are saying.” Leeteuk's attention passed to the laptop, scrolling without thought.

His heart went tight and he had to force the mask to stay.

I hope Eunhyuk-oppa feels better. Teukie-oppa seems lonely.

Eunhyukkie! Come back soon!

Eunhyuk-shi, you've beat this before! You can do it again!

Eunhyuk and Leeteuk are the best radio hosts!

The laugh was dry and the smile was fake. “Wow. Thank you guys for all your wishes. I'm sore Eunhyuk-ah is feeling even better now, hearing how much his ELF love him.”

There was one comment he did not read.

If Eunhyuk-ah doesn't come back, what'll happen to Leeteuk-shi do?

---------------------------------------------
The fifth, partner-less KTR ended and Leeteuk wasn't in any hurry to get out of his seat. But the producer signaled him into the sound booth and he couldn't delay that.

The staff busied themselves elsewhere, but the producer wouldn't look him well in the eye. “Leeteuk-shi...we think...you should probably start considering a new co-host.”

His heart plummeted to the pit of his stomach and his face expressed the same. “What? But...but...Eunhyuk-shi...

“He's not coming back, Leeteuk-shi. We can't wait for him. The show's take a sadder side and sooner or later the listeners are going to notice.”

“But this is Eunhyuk's show. We've worked on this for three years. And...and...Eunhyuk, he -”

“We'll give you till Thursday's show to choose a member. If not, we'll just rewrite it as your show.” The producer gave a glare of 'no discussion' and just walked away.

Leeteuk couldn't breathe. How could he replace Eunhyuk? How could he accept Eunhyuk was...gone?

That headache was getting worse.
