Stargate Friday & Stuff

I'll start with my thoughts on the Gates before moving on to muttering to myself :)

I want to thank everyone for not spoiling me for this ep! Yay! I knew nothing about who was going to be in it, so it was a treat to watch it unfold.

I really thought that Sam rocked the house in this one. It made me very happy, because over the last few seasons I haven't been so please with the way she's been portrayed. This, and last week, I could really get behind. Is it wrong that I love when she kicks the crap out of people? Hee ( ... )

I can understand that. I'm not the huge Sam fan that you and surrealphantast are, but I can certainly see where you have reason to complain. She and I both feel that her character's been given new life in these eps in the second half of S10. She's *very* kick ass and not apologizing for it, which I adore. It feels like she's dealt with her own demons and is much more actualized because of it. Because yes, the Sam of the last couple of eps really rocks! Yay! Here's to more of the same!

I don't really watch SGA, so I have no idea if this was IC for him or not, but given the McKay that I'm familiar with from SG-1, this just made me giggle.I honestly have no idea how to answer this, other than to say that I adore the McKay from SG1-verse and am not so wild about the Atlantis-verse Rodney. It sometimes feels to me like TPTB are pushing the character too hard because of his huge popularity in the Atlantis-verse. I dunno. I just know that ( ... )

Just so you know, I've been frantically trying to find my "inner Cam" voice all day, because a ficlet from you is a gift much to be coveted! He's proving elusive, though, the bugger...but I'm not giving up. Never written Cam, so it's an interesting challenge.

Do I get to pick my ficlet subject? 'Cos I have *ideas*......

Heh, yes, my dear, you get to choose your own prompt!

Hmm. Jack/Daniel/Vala? Okay... gotta get my brain workin' on that one ;)

And now that I've lost the afternoon channeling Cam Mitchell instead of working on my Master's thesis...:D

If you head on over to my LJ, doll, there will be a present for you...

Er, I'm sort of an idiot. I totally missed the point of your question about the moon.

If it helps, surrealphantast has asked exactly the same question in a post on her LJ this morning.

U R both smarter than me!
