Holy crap, I did a triathlon! The last triathlon I raced was Ultraman in 2014 (and the last "traditional" one-day, swim-bike-run triathlon I did was earlier that year at HITS Marble Falls). Even more impressive was Matt, whose last triathlon was Ironman Florida in November of 2013! So maybe we were sorta due for one.

This event was Jamie's suggestion, as part of his "how about you do some of the smaller, lesser-known tris in the area?" initiative. (Turns out, this is the only one that we came up with/I signed up for.) All I knew about it going in was that it was a hard bike, and a lot of people really liked it. And it was in Marble Falls.
