I think I'm experiencing a motivational low, likely inspired by having a 4 day weekend last weekend. And skipping half of the workouts I was supposed to be doing. Oops. I've managed to follow the schedule this week, but very grudgingly, and I have yet to do my run today. Fridays seem to be the hardest for me.. the tempo run days. I'm supposed to do a 2 mile tempo run (10-15 minute warmup, 2 miles at a 9:20-9:30 pace, then 10 minutes cooldown) on Fridays, and I either can't find the motivation, I'm afraid to tire myself out for my Sunday long run, or I simply don't have time. Okay, technically I'm supposed to be doing a THREE mile tempo run, but I'm trying to work up to that. I keep telling myself I'll do it when I get home. We'll see if that happens.

Oddly, the only workouts I'm really looking forward to these days are the long runs. I never would have figured I'd be excited about doing a 16 mile run. Turns out? I like to run, but I hate to run fast.

3 weeks until more vacation.
