You'll Never Guess Who Came to Watch Us on Black Saturday
Last Saturday, we had a gig with the Purplechickens, Daisy Singko, and a host of other bands at Freedom Bar.
And you won't believe me when I tell you who came in and sat in the front row: none other than Didith "Bakit Ako Mahihiya" Reyes. A charming lady who knew how to have a good time. She enjoyed the Purpleshickens' set, clapping and throwing kisses at the band. She enjoyed our set, too. But I think she enjoyed looking at the hubby more. Haha! She's such a sweetheart. But that's not how the people of her generation saw her. Back then she was considered racy; one of the few courageous women who'd wear plunging necklines and flaunt their assets. She's still got those assets, I must say. ;P
Too bad we didn't have a camera with us and weren't able have our picture taken with her. That would have been uber cool. :D
