Restlessness
Ugh! I hate being bored. Just flat bored. When I am bored, everything is- well, I don't know, just blah.
The Anime Expo BBQ for staff was yesterday- very fun! I got sunburned though. Ouch. I met a lot of really nice people, great people, and I think I made a lot of friends too. How cheezy does that sound? Very, I know, but I'm happy. There's one person in particular I would like to get to know better, but I dunno what's up with him. Sadness. I hope to talk with him soon, he was pretty awesome.
I have a company luncheon tomorrow. My bosses invited the whole office, used to be called Secretary Appreciation Day or something, but now it is Professional Worker Appreciation Day. Hahaha professional, half of us- well, more than half of us wear jeans and t-shirts to work, except for the older bunch. I <3 my job on special occasions. We're being taken to a place called Blake's in a hotel, and we were asked to dress up.. wow. I got all excited that we're going to a dress up restaurant. I know- cheezy there too, but hey, it's good to find happiness in simple, silly things in life.
I miss church. I know I can go anytime, but it's just the passion of wanting to go that I miss. It's so hard to get up and just go. Argh. It's not like I'm out of religion, just out of church. I went last week and had a great time. It seems every time I decide to go, there is always something so good in the message. Ever since my old church merged with the new one, it's been really amazing and the worship is even better. I feel kind of sad for our worship team not being able to go up with the new one, but I think they'll end up there eventually. Guess that's how new things work. I should go next Sunday or maybe go this Wednesday. We'll see.
No school for me this Tuesday! I'm happy about that too. It is staff day, so I'm assuming they either have the day off or tons of meetings to go to. Either way- good for me! I get to sleep in an extra day of the week and I'll probably end up going to CHS to visit Noah and Mrs.Beard. Hopefully I will get a chance to talk to Mr.Smouse about the whole teaching thing. Who knows? He may get me a streamline in to teach there or something. How awesome would that be? Never know. Always have the back up- a credential to teach a normal subject, or to sub. A friend of mine in Hawaii says they're desperate for teachers, so that could be an idea as well. Teaching in Hawaii....... Yes, imagine the big smile on my face.
Anyways, I'm off for now. Nothing else worth telling about at the moment- except I am frustrated, restless, bored, and I really want someone to talk to! Just to talk to. I want to talk. Ugh. Goodnight.
