Finished the season finale of Doctor Who. My comments? "Uhhhhh.....hmmm, ok."

I can't remember what I said with my last update but I think it went along the lines of my recruiters.

After a rather lengthy interview via phone with a guy named Will (who seemed like a nice guy) and after I asked him about a million questions, he said "I thought you did very well in your interview, and I'd like to be the first to welcome you aboard to Footprints." And I was so stunned I thought he was joking.

Anywho! I'm apart of footprints now and I need to gather up all of my documentation, my diploma, my passport, my transcripts, little health sheets, drive up to Seattle to talk to the Korean Consul there and then I'll be on to my job in Korea.

A family member dropped off Rosetta Stone and I've started working with it. After meh...30 minutes or so I can recognize the difference between boy, girl, man, woman, elephant, plane, car, dog, cat, and a few other things here and there. Did you know dog is pronounced "ke" which is kinda funny because when you laugh online it's also "ke" which I guess is either or coincedence or it may imply that dogs are funny creatures. If you've ever had a dog you know this to be true.

I'm trying to push my departure date until September because my brother is coming back at the end of August which means we basically pass each other AND he can come to my going away party, as demanded...er requested by Valerie.

This weekend a had a blast with some college friend and played Apples to Apples. It was never a game that I liked but for some reason I have a lot of fun when it's with college friends. I think my family has to stick with Taboo and Life.

You know I went to the bank to ask if they could notarize my documents and they said yes. I asked her a bunch of questions about conversion fees and transfer fees and she eventually was smart enough to just give me the document she was reading. Another weird thing which...I felt was a bit rude was she asked me if I was single, and said I was crazy for not knowing the language and running off to Korea.

First of all, I think it'll be a HUUUUGE adventure to go to a basically secret country that's thousands of years old and I've no idea how to speak the language. I'm not stupid and I know it'll be hard and I'm not your average stupid American running over there to get drunk on soju and sleep with a bunch of cutie Korean boys and ignoring all unspoken cultural rules like walking in someone's house with shoes on.

Despite that I finally feel like I'm on the road to "right". Like this is what I'm suppose to be doing. So, I'm good to go.

Enough with the chattering though. Gotta get to work. But that's what's goin on right now.

work, update
