Ms. Jones called me up today in multimedia, and took me into the storage room. I was completely caught off guard -- I thought I had done something wrong again. Instead, she told me my documentary was the best video out of all of them, but I turned my paperwork in a day late so I'm disqualified from the contest. She just 'wanted to tell me' though. Uh, hey thanks. I'm sure the contest prize is shitty anyway. I don't want your stupid sports tickets kthx.

In Spanish, the class attempted to translate chapter seven of our book. While they bounced between people, I sat and worked further on my ink design. (Which is coming along beautifully, albeit tediously.) That took up most of class. Then we got a worksheet comparing the grandmother in the story to our grandmother. I was sort of lost. I don't know much about my grandmother, I'm not close to her, and never really plan to be close to her. And my grandmother on my mother's side I never knew. So I didn't even finish the venn diagram... I just turned it in. My grade is good enough, it can take a 30.
Daniel finished his paper, and then came to sit in the seat behind mine. He asked me what my grandmother was like, and I explained to him that I wasn't very close to that side of my family. So then I asked him what his grandmother was like. It was so cute, he must've taken at least 5 - 7 minutes listing off stuff about his grandmother, who apparently lives in Korea. Maybe Seoul. Anyway, I was just glad to hear him talk for such an extended period of time about something I could actually understand. It's nice that he's close to his family.
He also asked me if I was done reading my NP Twilight Princess guide, and I told him yes, but I'm carrying it around for reference. (My ink design contains the winged Triforce and the Egyptian eye that are depicted on the cover.) And he also noted that Travis hadn't said anything to him, and I laughed and told him that was good, as I told Travis not to do anything.
But, of course, like all our conversations, it was destined to go down a path I couldn't comfortably follow. I still don't even know what to think of it, but it makes me sort of sad. However, maybe it's not my place to be sad. If he can live well enough with his beliefs, maybe I have no right to be sad. I suppose this is one of those pieces of information I won't share with most people, as they'd jump to conclusions about him.
Regardless, it was a great conversation. I really missed talking to him.
Oh -- he even said it himself. He was busy last week, and didn't talk much in our class. I guessed he was busy, but it's still nice to have confirmation.
And he walked with me to 6th again... ^^;

While I was waiting outside to be picked up, Travis walked by and referred to Daniel as my 'boytoy.' Haha. Andria was sitting right there, too. XD

When I got home my mother convinced me to go for a walk with her. Bad choice. ): She ended up taking a wrong turn, extending our walk 15 minutes. I almost died. I have no stamina whatsoever.

Then I got to play some Zelda. Didn't get very far, but it's better than not playing at all.
However, a bad thunderstorm (really bad) hit, so I had to quit mid-item hunting.
The storm is mostly passed now. It was raining really REALLY hard for a while. So hard that it looked fake. :O

And now I'm going to go watch Den-O 14 and Geki 11.

Re: Sexy Voice and Robo 1
I demand people watch this now. Such an amazing first episode. I torrented this thinking it was going to be another comedy jdorama like A@D, but I was crying by the end of the episode. Very emotional. Plus, Robo is awesome!

Tomorrow is gaming club...
