I didn't update Thursday because I wasn't feeling too happy after gaming club. I'm putting a lot of effort into staying away from livejournal when upset, so as not to spam my friends. Didn't matter anyway, as nothing happened at gaming club. I left very early, because Daniel was planning to leave too. Except I rushed ahead, trying not to make it too obvious, under the excuse of "I wanna go play Zelda NOW. :O" I was kicking myself the whole way home. (and 50 minutes is plenty of time to think it over)
In retrospect, it was probably best that I left so early, as not even 5 minutes after I walked in the door, it started raining.
Yesterday, they were taking pictures for our school IDs next year. Daniel wore his ninja gear again because of that. Such innocence on his part makes me smile, after all the disturbing talks we've had. I didn't see much of him because he went to the library during 5th period...
I went to Jess' house not long after I got home, and from there we went to the movie theater to see Spiderman 3. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it much, since I'm not a big Marvel fan. (and by "not big" I mean "I could really care less") When we got there, I saw Clint getting tickets. XD; I remember Andria told me that he was going to see Spiderman 3 also, so I wonder if we went to the same showing...
I got to meet Jess' friends, and her boyfriend Cory, who is awesome and I totally approve of.
The movie itself was pretty good. Basic, stringy plot at best, but I enjoyed the action. It made me wish tokusatsu could get an adult makeover like Batman and Spiderman...
The theater's arcade had DDR SuperNova, which Jess and I whored before and after the movie. Brand new machine. We got onto the score board, but I bet our scores are beaten and long gone by now. Magically, I'm able to do standard. This happened when I went from beginner to light. Just all of a sudden, I could do it. And now, somehow, I'm able to follow half-notes better. I don't get it! But it does feel good to not be left behind anymore, even if Jess is still slightly better than me. (She has better foot strategy...)
Today, we went to Dave and Busters with Anna and played some more SuperNova.
Now I'm home, and will be for another 2 hours or so as my mother and Jon drive back from Lubbock. This is one of those times I wish my speakers were working, as I'd really love to blast some music right now...
I need to thank Chelsea on Monday. Her flaming bat stuff has made it a lot easier to smile when I'm not feeling so well.
