Hallowmas was pretty fun. (Outside of the fact that I woke up sick the day of. I'm miserable out here in these streets.)
Zyi’ came! I was so happy to see him. The nice lady who brought him, Theresa, whom he said is like an adopted grandmother to him, was really interesting. She has her hands full with him. I told her that she has to stay on him, that if she allows him to be complacent, that's what he'll do. He brought gifts. It was so cute. I got a cute little 🌟 hot chocolate bomb and all of us got headbands. (He got the younger 3 little rubber rings) Oh! Kai made me a little card from the new Trolls movie which is giving the new Spiderverse movie a run for its money as my favorite film this year. Player 456 got me $50, (Bruh, his mom and those people gave me $20. I was shocked!) as did my job, I got alot of stuff this year surprisingly. I still gotta get something for 2 of my work kids. I'll probably get on that this weekend since Walmart gave me a $25 rebate for not delivering my groceries. Yup. I shall be doing that Friday when I get paid.
The night before, Player 456 and I almost got into an argument cuz he said if the shoe was on my foot and I was the one locked up, he woulda put money on my books. (See 1st post quote) Without being a complete and total bitch, I pointed out that without the jail angle, he already wasn't giving my money so in my eyes, no he wouldn't. I had no reason to believe otherwise. I mean, you can't even handle promised child support but you want me to believe that were I in jail, you would have had my back? FOH.
We didn't argue tho’ and for the first time, instead of unpacking a feelings box, he listened to my perspective. (To the point that he says he'll start giving me $50 a week… I'll let you know if it actually happens) I mean, in my eyes, I've been doing the damn thing out here in these streets and this is without a license. I don't drive but it's never an excuse. I'm not out here begging people to take me to work… None of that. I just get shit done. (With Tasha's help, I now see myself with new eyes. I've never actually thought about it that way until she brought it up)
Despite that almost hiccup, everything has been good out here in these streets. Tasha and her crew came for dinner. We danced, played UNO, I participated in one game of football, and all in all, we did a lot of running. I was cooking dinner in the midst of this and surprisingly, I didn't burn anything. Look at me go.

PS: I did my hair in this simple, yet cute braided look that got wasted cuz when I called Aunt Carroll, she told me to stay home cuz she couldn't afford to get sick. So she video'ed with Mo instead. Next thing I knew, I was waking up and it was 3pms! (Yeah, I'm that kinda sick. Know my ass doesn't nap)
PS2: Player 456 called and I had to explain that I'm not alcohol sick, (Cuz I drank ALOT of eggnog) I'm sick for reals. So he talked to me ‘til I started getting tired. He even asked about Agents Of Chaos. I was surprised. So I explained what I'm working on right now. (I need to hurry up and get Jan and Z off that damn island) Tho’ surprising, it was an appreciated distraction
