Ya know, I had all 4kids for like, 3days. I really spent quite a bit of time with Laurynn. She pretty much filched my new Iron Man shirt. Laurynn was in that shirt more than me. Not kidding. Saturday and Sunday night she refused to get under a blanket and instead opted to sleep under it. Yesterday she realized she could always put it on. I had to practically drag her out of it when it was time to get ready to go to Destynee's party. (Yesterday she turned 1... Tasha's trying to force her to walk... It's really funny. Oh, I saw Sheretta last night. She said I've pretty much spoiled Laurynn rotten and you can tell. *smiles sheepishly* Guilty) Then last night, I said "Okay Laurynn, time for bed." She started running around looking for it. Zyi' brought it to me and she was like "Mine." I said: "You do realize it's my shirt, right?" Again she said "Mine." So I put it on her. She was very happy with the results.
Oh! Mo Mo and Kylee have pierced ears now. Elizabeth took Mo to get hers done last week. Kylee was supposed to come back with pierced ears but she didn't so I told her I would take her. She was very excited. I didn't want Elizabeth to tell Kylee that Mo cried before getting hers but she blurted it out like, 3x's. Kylee didn't cry so of course, when we got home, she said something to Mo then they started going back and forth and I was like: "Oh boy." I told Kylee I would do this just me and her because she never gets time with me one on one. She was very happy about that. I was glad I could do that with her because as I've mentioned before, I don't get many milestones or firsts with Kylee.
They both look nice and semi-sophisticated with pierced ears.
Dude, I cleaned the whole house from practically top to bottom today looking for my MP3 Player. Just when I'd given up all hope, I discovered it inside the base of the gift I got Sherry for Valentine's Day... After I had already cleaned. Maybe the universe knew just how bad I needed to do it and what it would take to make me move my ass.
