Happy Belated 4th Of July!!!

Hi, LiveJournal. Sunday I got invited to a 4th of July BBQ at Sherry’s parents’ house. It was awesome. I had A LOT of fun considering for a second, I kinda wanted to drag up a lie to get outta it.
I saw Alex, Clint, Erin and practically Sherry’s WHOLE family. It was nice seeing their mom. It’s been awhile. I got drunk as shit. That was fun. Alex got on my LAST nerve. Well, not really. He said he was trying to catch up all those years he missed while he was in IRAQ and couldn’t bug me. It was awesome seeing him after all these years actually.
Erica came with me. I swear, hanging with Erica is fun even if she believes herself dull. Cuz she had me laughing the whole time.
Their mom reminds me of me. I think that’s why I’ve always liked her.
I also learned that no matter how unimportant I think I am, that is not so. Somewhere in the world, there are a lot of people sitting there loving me. I met quite a few of them Sunday. *laughs* It was one of the best ways to bring in Independence Day even if I got home after 3am.
Sherry and Erin are getting married on the 30th of this month. Erica and I are going. I get to wear a dress I bought earlier this year. It’s pretty. Glad it shall be used.
It all went downhill after I got home. I got to thinking about BBQs and shit and how the last time I was at one, it was here and so were Kyle and Co. The last time my eyes were on Brittney, was here at David’s BBQ the day before she died. Just associating that event with the one I’d just left caused me to have a panic attack. It wasn’t pretty.
*sighs* I did keep my daughter from another mother from Saturday to this morning tho’. She said something to me. It hurt because she was right. That’s what set me off actually. I had time to think what those little words meant. I just felt so bad. I don’t want to but, I do.

PS: I got Game of Thrones today as a belated birthday gift.
