I actually did research on this. *faceplants* Without his balls, Jim would lose his desire for sex. A castrated male will gain some weight on the hips, get tender around the nipples and breasts, and the penis will atrophy

Thank you! I enjoy writing slag!Jim, but it's just not true. There's things we do in fandom to amuse ourselves, but it's wrong to deceive ourselves into thinking that's the actual characterization. The slash fans are really bad about it. Or is that just the romance fans in general?
