I am grumpy and trying not to be.
1. Naruto: I think this week's chapter demonstrates why I do still have minimal investment in Sakura/Sasuke despite not really giving a crap about these characters. (Still basically only ship Shikamaru/Temari, and liked the little we saw of Asuma/Kurenai, but OTHERWISE...)
I love how Sasuke's instant reaction is to back her up while Naruto freaks out. I do so have such a weak spot for battle couples, sigh. (I'm not sure how to read her reaction though, I mean seriously girl, did you NOT notice that he just backed you up and that's pretty obviously his way of caring??)
Still wish Sakura had been allowed some way to at least keep up slightly with the boys though. It's only tolerable atm because Kakashi is also getting to play the dead weight role. I mean... at least she got to try something, I guess... ~_~
