Title comes from my favorite of all the books we've pulled to discard from the library. There was a good thirty seconds of laughter from myself and the director as we stared at that cover/title combo.
Googled it, and of fucking course it's set in Oklahoma. Here's a link if I've enticed any of you to check out this obvious literary masterpiece. Let's all ignore how much it sounds like at least one of my hanfic plots, okay?
I am not considering a sideline in Harlequin romance novels. Probably.
