24. In Cold Blood - Truman Capote
This one is a re-read. Watching the movie Capote made be pick up the book. Didn't realise until I picked it up for the re-read that I had an original printing paperback. No idea where it came from but it's been sitting on my shelf forever and I hadn't read it in decades. Am surprised it survived the move 9 years ago when I gave away 23 bags of books!
25. Eats, Shoots & Leaves - Lynne Truss
Who knew that reading about punctuation could be so funny? Well, lots of people, apparently, as I'm behind the pack on reading this book. Will now shrinkwrap this one and hand it back to Mary Ann. :)
26. The 1940s House - Juliet Gardiner
Accompanying book to the TV show. I found this one more interesting than previous one (The 1900s House).
27. Fault Lines - Anne Rivers Siddons
One from my mother's collection. A nice easy chick lit kind of read. Not quite the ending I expected, but better than what I had predicted.
28. Night's Landing - Carla Neggers
This one couldn't have been very memorable, as I had to go back and read the cover to see what it had been about. Average romance/intrigue story.
Reading about 4 other books right now. Really should finish some off and quit making myself crazy deciding which one to cart back and forth to work everyday. :)
