I debated over doing this, due to the horror that was this past semester, but I ended up deciding to take a summer class. The class is Medieval Romance (I adore Medieval literature) and is taught by one of my favorite professors and just sounded like such a fun class that I had to sign up for it, especially since spring semester was made up almost completely of classes I had to take rather than anything I actually wanted to take. So far I'm only one class in, but I'm thinking that I won't regret this. (The class is Wednesdays, running right up until the week of Otakon. Technically I have class on the day I'll probably be leaving for con, but Doc Bice is awesome and said she has no problem with working out a time for me to take the final early.)
I didn't sign up for graduation this fall because I was basically positive that I'd end up one upper division class shy of meeting the requirements. Sadly, taking this class means that I could have graduated after all, but its too late now to do anything about it. I'm a little bummed about this, but not so much as I might have been because I really do want to try for a history major as well. And I've wanted since forever to take classes abroad, and I'm sort of thinking about looking into that for next spring. Because I think its something that won't get done ever if I don't do it soon.
