*waves*
So, the last month or so of classes were one long blend of too many papers and too little sleep and no time and the utter surety that I was going to break under all the stupid pressure that I put on myself every single freaking semester. (This is really something I should, probably, deal with sometime. Because not being able to manage school without worrying myself to the point of, say, ulcers, does not bode well for anything having to do with life after school.)
I finished finals a little over a week ago, and have been getting some joy out of being staggeringly useless since then and thoroughly enjoying not needing to set an alarm. Unfortunately, not having school to fret about has meant that I've had plenty of time to notice how out of shape (both literally and not) other areas of my life have gotten as school has gotten more evil, which the last two semesters especially have been. I've really got a lot of things that I want to fix about myself this summer.
Also, on a slightly less tinged with depression note, I've been, over the past year or so, getting back into American comics. Marvel, oddly enough, as I'd always been a DC girl (probably this is somewhat influenced by wanting to know the stories behind the movies that have come out and will continue to come out over the next few years). And wow does Tony Stark have a massive man-crush/case of hero warship/love to death and beyond Steve Rogers. Seriously. (And sadly I'm still a horrible, bad, so very behind One Piece fan.)
Now off to figure out what everyone has been up to for the past month and a half or so.
(Oh, also. I got your message, Brian (sorry, didn't have the ringer on last night) and I'll look forward to catching up with you guys sometime soon.)
