We got snow yesterday...boy did we get snow! It was that wet, heavy snow and there were already a couple of inches of it on the ground when I got up. My office didn't open until 10:30 and then sent everyone home again by noon. Of course that happens when I'm working from home! The snow arrived right on schedule.  Predictions for for it to start at 11 am, get heavy by noon, and dump perhaps as much as 8" on us by the end of the day.  Sure enough, when I looked out my window at 11:03 am today, the snow was just starting.  By 12:00 it was coming down pretty heavily, and by 12:30 they closed my office.  Eight inches is a ( Read more... )
