Life is Life, La La La La La La
This has been an awesome week in San Diego. Both productive and relaxing! I have been getting ready for rush, doing a lot of work for USDtv and the Palestra, and submitting a bunch of job apps. I did a story on how beautiful our campus yesterday:
I was painting a utility box a few days ago and had to go in to mix paint. THAT was quite the experience. The characters working in the paint shop were literally NUT JOBS, and I just happened to have my camera on me. So I whipped it out and came up with a pretty weird and random story:
Hahaha, WEIRD.
The best news of the week: I had my orientation for NBC yesterday and it was AWESOMEEEEEE. I am so happy! This is the highlight of my entire year... I can't tell you how excited I am to start working there. I have to wait until we start school, but once we do I am going to be a news writer for the NBC San Diego website. Jesse, the internship coordinator, said that reporters need to have a VERY strong understanding of writing, so this is a really good way to start. :-) We got our ID's, listened to a bunch of people come in and talk, and got to know the other interns. There's a really cute guy in the sports dept. from Boston, but I've immediately held a grudge for that World Series. Lol.
Finally, polish week starts tonight with a kick-of dinner, the madness starts TOMORROW! Ahhhhh!!!!
