A vacation turns into a death bed visit
A short post to let my friends know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I am thoroughly addicted to Facebook and will probably let my account here dwindle to a free one.
The winter was tough - Bob had pneumonia and tendinitis ( which turned out to be a resurgence of his old nemesis Gout) Spring and summer have been wet cold and rainy up until the last week when it finally got hot! Our vacation is next week - it was supposed to be a short trip to Maine and Vermont - relaxing. But we have sad news that Bob's uncle has liver cancer and is not expected to live long - we must make a trip up th Buffalo NY to see him. He and his wife have been special in our lives. He is the last of Bob's mom's siblings still alive and we want to visit with him before he goes. But Bob still wants to go to Vermont and Maine. That is a lot of driving and a lot of sitting in cars. Maybe I can see if he is willing to tone it down a little
