Two years ago I started keeping track of the books I read over the course of a year, on librarything. I was shocked at the end of 2008 to see how much re-reading of books I do, instead of reading new things. I finally read the Da Vinci Code over the last two days, and in general I'm unimpressed. The writing is so-so, basically on par with the better works of Michael Crichton. The library reorganization is almost completed. We have about two shelves worth of philosophy books that are currently unhomed, but everything else has a place.
