End of term
I'm done! So very done! Papers are written, everything is turned in. My only commitments for the next 3 weeks: a Decemberists concert (tonight!) and two holiday parties. Woohoo!
Also, Josh and I both got a TA position for next term, for the class IAT 101: New Media Images. It's one of the big first-year lecture courses, covering art history, media theory, and a little bit of photography, web design, filmmaking, etc. Should be fun! It's a full 5 unit appointment, which is awesome, because last term I only had 2 units and Josh had nothing. Plus I have a couple months left on the ethnography RAship I got last term. So we should have a solid funding situation next term. We won't be living in the lap of luxury, but we should be able to meet all our basic needs and maybe even have some extra for clothing and books and video games.
