"To be angry is easy, to be angry at the right time, in the right way, for the right reasons, this is hard." Aristotle
Okay, so I just saw a post on how someone is saying that if they are not involved that they are not going to get involved. I saw responses that said they are going to stay neutral and that being "Switzerland" are the ethical things to do.
Boy do I disagree and even found myself getting angry at this train of thought. It is this mentality that allows bad people to keep doing bad things. So if you are not directly involved in something you are never going to take a stand huh?
Boy that sure as hell explains a lot of the worlds problems. Gives a whole new meaning to out of sight, out of mind.
Now mind you, I am not saying rush in uninformed, but how about taking the time to educate yourself. Ask questions and listen to things being said by all parties involved. Sometimes you don't have to get involved and then sometimes you are just as bad as the bad people if you decide to sit on your hands, do nothing and turn your back because "you are not directly involved."
"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke
I will be writing more on this but I had to spit this out before my blood started boiling.
