Isn't it Dilema? Maybe? I'm a horrid speller also.

Well... if you had the money, would you choose a dress you made or would you choose one that looks bridal? Go from there.

What if you wore both. One to the ceremony and one to the reception?

Only you can decide what to do. No matter what you decide, you will be a beautiful bride in either dress. Just think about how you will feel in each dress. Will you feel happier in a bridal dress or in the one you made?

I know which one i'd choose... but that's me. Not you.

what would i do? i'd go for the bridal dress... i had always dreamed of a wedding with a big bridal gown and train and all of the works.

But you need to figure out what would make you happy.

i think i will wear both if i really like the formal one.. because that way i will have one for the ceremony and one for the reception.

Take the dress... or at least look at it. The dress you made sounds like it's easily adaptable... make it your "going away" dress for when you all leave the reception if you like.

It's amazing that you made a dress yourself. I would be so proud to wear it. In the end it's really what will make you happy. I would wear both if I could get away with it
