congratulations to j.p. and sarah!
the wedding on saturday was actually a lot of fun. mary ended up coming after all, thanks to mary's daddy for telling her to come. :) me, mary, tony, and bobbi left around 12/12:30 for fredericksburg. tony was getting irritated because we were taking too long to get ready. but we're girls and that's what we do. unfortunately it rained on and off the entire drive there so it took us about 4.5 hours to get there. loooong drive. we checked into the hotel room and changed and murray did my make up for me. i really adore her purple eyeshadow. we showed up at j.p.'s place for the wedding, it was still a little sprinkle-y but but luckily it wasn't pouring. it was so fun seeing everyone all dressed up. they actually had the place set up so nice. the ceremony was moved a little quickly to try to avoid the rain but it was really really nice. sarah looked absolutely beautiful in her dress. it was so cute. i almost cried. :)
after the ceremony everyone herded under the reception tent. it was real pretty. they had a little picture slide show that they showed. pictures of j.p. and sarah from when they were itty bitty babies until now. it was so sweet. then the bride and groom shared their first dance. i almost cried again. i swear, i am such a loser at weddings. :p luckily i have 3 more to go to from now until next november. bobbi and mary had disappeared during this time to go get our change of clothes for later in the reception. they had two cakes, vanilla and red velvet. i had some of the red velvet and it was really good. they had a buffet for dinner, and casey had helped with the food. it was all really good. casey's so good in a kitchen. :) they had champagne on tables for toasts, but i didn't get a chance to have any of that. they had wine in the back, red and white sangria (the white was super yummy), and seven kegs. needless to say, drunkeness did ensue. sarah and j.p. left for a while during the reception, but instead of consummating the marriage, apparently j.p. passed out and took a nap. :) funny stuff. while they were gone, it gave all the adults time to head out so it just left their college friends and immediate family i think. that's when the party started. sarah was having such a good time...she was out on the dance floor all night. she dragged me out there for a little while to dance with her. while i was on my way to the bathroom...but you can't say no to the bride. then me and mary were standing by a table by the dance floor and suddenly my ass is slapped...sure enough, it's sarah. some more dancing. she was seriously dancing all night. i'm so glad she had a good time. a lot of pictures were taken. i put most of them up if you want to see. http://community.webshots.com/user/shay0215 ba-zing. it was a great time. congratulations to them!
after we partied it up, me, tony, bobbi, mary, and diggidy headed back to the hotel for the night. me and mary washed off our feet in the shower (they got sooooo muddy) but we didn't really clean out the bottom of the shower and got yelled at the next morning by tony. poor diggidy...he had to share the bed with mary and bobbi and i'm sure he doesn't envy tony after listening to our girl talk all night. "she commands you to get her a glass of water and then complains that it's not full enough. where can i get a girlfriend?" haha..good times. the drive home wasn't as bad, not as much rain. but it was a lot more entertaining. i didn't realize diggidy was so entertaing...but damn. that kid had me cracking up the whole ride home. mary headed out once we got back. but she should be back soon for her birthday!! *YaY*

i hit up the business career fair today. i wasn't there very long though, mostly due to the face that i'm not actually a business major. minor detail. i did talk to a couple companies. there was one i liked a lot. they took a couple copies of my resume and told me to e-mail them my resume too. they were real nice. there's some information sessions tonight for companies, both are at the same time, and i'm not sure which one i want to go to. hmm. the math department is actually having a career fair in the fall! *gasp* it's in about a month. i definitely need to hit that one up. if you know anyone who wants to hire an applied math sciences major...send them my way. :p
i think i'm gonna go get my nails done today. :) i deserve a little pampering.
i get my ring next week! WHOOP!
i saw kelsey today. it made me smile. :)
GILMORE GIRLS STARTS TONIGHT!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!
