all the way from cs, texas
well kiddies, i came up and moved into the apartment saturday morning. my parents, tony, and i all caravaned up here. my parents are horrible to follow anywhere because they drive too fast. well we got up here and me and bobbi signed the lease for the 2 bedroom and got our keys. :) move in was quite a chore with the bed and couch and all. luckily i'm little and weak so i didn't have to do much heavy lifting. after the move in and all, me and the b-friend met the parents for lunch. my daddy had 2 margaritas...drunky. then we hit up walmart and my parents bought me some much needed essentials...pots, pans, cleaners, trash cans, etc. my parents left after that and i started to unpack some of my boxes. later that night, me, tony, bobbi, casey, and marshall all went to the ptarmagin to do some hangin' out and drinkin'.
sunday was a shopping day. me and tony went to bed bath and beyond where i got some stuff for my room and the bathroom, and then we went to walmart where i got a dresser and some food. tony started to put together my dresser, and then we went to see 'red eye' which was really good. i liked it a lot. rachel mcadams is wonderful. my new celebrity crush. :) we got some dinner after the movie and then came back and watched 'family guy'. he left after that...sadness. but he'll be back friday and he's making me some bookshelves this weekend. he's so handy. :) casey helped finish putting the dresser together for me. nice boy.
monday was a lot of unpacking and hanging out with the roomie. we got our mailbox keys and got our internet hooked up. well, zac had to come over and help with the internet because i'm dumb and couldn't get it to work. bobbi then made us all dinner...grilled chicken, macaroni, and salad. it was really good. and we had some fruit salad for dessert. she's a talented little woman in the kitchen. i should really learn from her. zac started hooking up our dvr but he had to leave so casey came over to finish the job. he's been putting everything in our apartment together. clare's supposed to come up to visit and bring me everything i forgot tomorrow morning. *YaY* for friends! i talked to jeremy last night before bed. i hadn't talked to the kid in like 4 months so it was good to catch up with him. he's sorta seeing some red haired model...no no, not me. :p i'm trying to convince him to come visit. we'll see.
well that's about it till now. summer was kinda boring. i made some money, but not tons. unfortunately. some things got a little weird this summer and i'm not sure why. it just kinda sucks when you realize that someone doesn't want to be friends with you anymore. especially when you're not sure what you did. it's a blah feeling, and i'm not really sure how to take it. i guess it's just a 'deal with it' kinda thing. people grow and change and i guess they also grow apart. unfortunately that seems to happen a lot. i'm glad i still have people that will always be my friend (ReL!) and i know they'll always be there for me. there's other stuff that's been going on too...but i dont't really think i should go into it though. i just have been feeling on the outside of pretty much everything. like everyone has each other and no one really needs or wants me. wow, let's stop the pity party shall we. i sound pathetic. anyways, bobbi is making us burgers for lunch so i'm gonna go and eat some food. :) *YaY* for roommates who can cook!
