Spain

After approximately 9 months of planning, the Ferguson/Mortenson/Ashcraft trip to Spain will be underway in a matter of hours.  I hope all the leg work and planning I have done will be enough to prevent any major disasters.  Only minor disasters allowed.

The itinerary includes Madrid, Sevilla, Toledo, Salamanca, Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, and the old Ferguson haunting ground, Rota.  For those who are unaware, the whole family was stationed in Rota, Spain during Dad's Naval commitment.  Caitlin was born there.  I have vague memories of our backyard and my dayschool.  Dad has arranged for us to have a tour of the base.  It should be interesting to see what hidden memories come up.

The rest of the trip will be a blast of old churches, palaces, ruins, museums, and primitive drawings!  Oh yeah, Caitlin plans to make us be less dorky with some actual interaction with the people of Spain in bars.  I am told your Spanish improves with alcohol.

Anyway, wish me luck!  Wish Lars ten times the luck since he will be with my family for 12 days!
