It is taking me a long time to actually realise what is going on over there. Some part of me refuses to believe that several people have died already.
I am conflicted about the whole "keeping track of what mangakas and anime voice actors are confirmed to be okay", in that my gut reaction first comes to something like "that's what you're caring about most, now?" until I realise. Most people in the west don't have someone they personally know in Japan, but many of them (me included) have come to love the work of said mangakas and actors, to the point that they ARE important people to their fans. There are definitively unconfirmed mangakas and actors that I personally care about, so it's not like I'd actually be angry for people feeling like that. (Gut reaction was aimed at myself as well any way.) (Hima-papa!! Oda-sensei!!)
Ramble aside, I hope the country pull through with minimum losses.
