The Illuminati strikes! (or...maybe just another post)

Driving home from Louisville--4.5 hours long (not counting stops). Not long enough to be an epic trip to get through, too long to just grit your teeth and bear it. We stopped at the outlet mall in Washington Courthouse and Bob got a lot of clothes, I got a wooden spoon to replace the one Bob broke because he totally ignored my request not to put the last one in the dishwasher, Rachel got a shirt, and Rachel was rude about something (I already forget what) and put me in a bad mood. The food court chinese place tricked me into getting ungood food, and taking out cash at the ATM. Bob got sulky because I insulted the bright yellow shirt he bought because I didn't help him pick out clothes while I was taking a wriggly hungry baby to the food court. But it really isn't as bad as I'm making it sound. Small annoyances are just that.

OK, enough venting. Now the post gets really short :D

I developed a cold yesterday and it sucks. Drip drip drip. Bob's family lives right near the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and they are doing their yearly to-do this week, so last night most of the family (and that's a LOT of people) went to a big ole parking lot (Target/Kohl's) along with a lot of other smart people who knew the secret of the parking lot and saw FIREWORKS! I love fireworks. Alyssa got kind of bored before they were over. But they were cool. It made up for missing them July 4.

I have a big to-do list for this week. We leave Friday for Michigan. I'll leave my to-do private as usual. I can't imagine how THAT would be handy for anyone.

Oh yeah, and I'm very almost done with my book. As most people told me already, I'm finding it much better than the Da Vinci Code. Don't really understand why that one got so much press + time on the bestseller list when it wasn't written nearly as well. (And I'm still catching interesting mistakes in this one, just the writing seems less forced).
