The Illuminati strikes! (or...maybe just another post)

Driving home from Louisville--4.5 hours long (not counting stops). Not long enough to be an epic trip to get through, too long to just grit your teeth and bear it. We stopped at the outlet mall in Washington Courthouse and Bob got a lot of clothes, I got a wooden spoon to replace the one Bob broke because he totally ignored my request not to put ( Read more... )

oopsies, yeah that was at the bottom of my mega-long post a few days ago. I'm reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Aside from the absolutely 24ish unrealism of getting to all these various locations across Rome so quickly (and also surviving various amazingly deathly encounters, and having the time to recover from them etc,) I'm finding the book to be your typical yet well-written thriller, but with interesting facts about art and history thrown in. Maybe I shouldn't say "aside from" since I watched every episode of last season's 24!

Now that you mention it, I do remember that. My short term memory is just terrible. I keep getting people mixed up, too. It gets embarrassing.

don't feel embarassed by me! It's fine with me if you never glanced over it at all. Now that my butt is no longer permanently affixed to my computer chair, I know that *I* certainly don't have the time to always see everything :) (Especially, in my case, with only an hour or so a day of time with no one toddling around or whining at me :D).

Sounds like you had fun at the mall, LOL. Some days are just like that.

Sorry about your cold. I hope you're pretty much over it by the time you leave on Friday.

That's funny about the wooden spoon. Why don't men ever listen?

Thanks, I hope I get over it too. I'm just making sure it doesn't turn into an infection before I can no longer whine to my doctor about antibiotics because I'm gone.

My man is actually more stubborn than most! Seriously!

You've never met Don (Adia's dad)!! He's got them all beat! Makes me want to pop him, sometimes.

Colds suck! And it's hot outside so it's icky to drink hot tea which actually makes me feel better.

Good luck with the to-do list.

Ahhh but we keep the air so very nice and cold, which is good for drinking my morning tea :) Usually I find it too cold and go outside often for fresh air, but this is like Hell on Earth right now!

That to-do list keeps getting longer every time I look at it :D

I know you don't like to have to respond to all the messages that you get, but I got asked by Joanne and John if there was any way for them to see the girl's pictures form their trips. They did not get to see them while you were home since they were not there on saturday. Just email me whenever you get a chance. Love ya

I can get those put in online albums. I will try to do that tomorrow. Then I can let you know where it is because I don't have their email address.

You don't have to worry about me getting tired of your comments :) You're welcome to say whatever and I'll get right back to you if I'm near a computer. I take that whole "family" thing very seriously :) I'm just a ditz and forget to do things all the time.

I just sent off today the Prilosec OTC. I hope it helps!!
