Oh god that song is so sad. :( You can feel his anger and depression in the way he sings it. D: Im not sure its a cry for help, but he is def putting it out there. Maybe he just wanted to get it out. Its still so fucking depressing. :'(

I wonder how many people did look into the lyrics.:(
A lot of his songs were pretty dark too.

He wrote that song after Elizabeth Taylor put his ass in rehab for a Demerol addiction in the 1990s.

He had to be weaned from the drug, go through withdrawal. Not a fun time for our dear MJ.

I can't even fathom what the turbulent time must have been like for him.
I have REALLY bad anxiety, and that alone is hard for me to cope with. But on top of that he was taking all those things AND doing a world tour. Ugh
And I hate when people accuse Elizabeth Taylor for introducing him to prescription drugs, she was obviously the one to aid him in seeking help.

Not only that, but he started using Demerol back in 1984, after the Pepsi incident. He was already using the stuff, he just wasn't addicted.

AND AGAIN, during the second trial.

"During the two years between the charges and the trial, Jackson reportedly became dependent on pethidine (Demerol), and lost a lot of weight."

Damn, MJ, put the drugs down and put your big boy undies on and deal with it.

The worst part is that the Santa Barbara police KNEW he was getting meds illegally and didn't do crap about it.

As a matter of fact, that's the ONLY evidence they recovered when they raided Neverland.

That was very evident
I remember watching the trials and noticing how very gaunt and thin he was.

And I feel bad for him. He must have been lost as to how to deal with such things. I don't know how one SHOULD deal with the things he dealt with. But of course drugs are never the answer- they are unfortunately the easy route though
